What is Panchang?
पंचांग (Panchang) is a Hindu calendar and almanac that provides important astrological information for a particular day. It consists of five main elements (hence the name 'Panch-ang' meaning five limbs):
तिथि (Tithi)
Lunar dayनक्षत्र (Nakshatra)
Lunar mansionयोग (Yoga)
Auspicious periodकरण (Karana)

Panchang helps determine auspicious times (Muhurats) for important events like weddings, housewarming ceremonies, starting new businesses, and other significant life events. It also warns about inauspicious times like Rahu Kalam and Yamagandam.
